Personal
Story:
I got these as a case from an Ebay seller for a very good price. It
was pretty insane how inexpensive the seller had listed it for. I
got 17 out of what is usually 24 in a case. Great deal. If it weren't
for that reason, I wouldn't have touched this set. |

Introduction:
This Kubrick set is based on on the Special Forces guys. Fifth
in the series. This is one of the most popular Kubrick series from
Medicom mainly because of their limited production and the fact that
they sometimes come with very rare and hidden figures which makes
collectors drool. There are always five common figures, one "Impossible
to Find" figure and an unknown amount of hidden figures. The
figures I have are (pictured left to right), West Gang (C), West Gang,
East Gang, West Gang (B) and Detachment Delta (A). |

Sculpt:
I'm going to review these as a set rather than focus on their
individual traits. Hmm, what happened Medicom? That was what I was
asking when I saw this set. I have absolutely no idea why Medicom
concentrated on gang members instead or our beloved Special Forces.
Another puzzling feature is that they focused on gangs in the USA.
How can I tell? Well, the whole West/East rivalry is a very American
thing. Weird...
Anyways,
let's get on with the sculpt itself. They are clean and simple but
a definite step down from the previous set. The figures look good
but they don't have too many details. The real winners are the accessories
like the cell phones and chain. But other than that, the pistols
are standard fare. Good, not great. The only common figure I love
is the Detachment Delta who's the dark horse of this set. But his
sculpt is also a step down than the previous set. Once again, what
happened Medicom??

Paint:
The paint job is okay. There are lots of solid colors. They are
crisp and clear. One very annoying feature is that the gang members
are actually labeled with "West" and "East" decals
on their backs. Why?? This ruins the ability to mix the torsos up
so you can create more gang members. A real screwup in my opinion.
The officer of the group is also made with solid colors only. There's
nothing really special with this set. |

Overall:
C
This is probably my least favorite set in the Special Force
series. The gang members are boring. They don't allow the ability
to create squads like the other sets. The labeling of the gang member's
region was unnecessary. The only winner is the officer of the group
and he's not easy to get. Medicom should've stuck with the Special
Force guys and kept these gang wannabes out of the series. Medicom
got lazy with this set. It's definitely the worst set in the series.
Period.

Where
can I find this?
You can find them being sold individually sometimes in auction
sites like Ebay. They aren't hard to find since they're not as popular
as the other Special Force sets. But that doesn't mean they're easy
to find either. |

The box. As you can see, they renamed the set, "Enemy's Posse".
Right...

A hidden AND very rare Detachment Delta (B) figure. Sweet looking
M4 gun with grenade launcher.
