Personal
Story:
I got these as a full set from a seller on Ebay for a fair price.
I was lucky that the seller also provided me the hidden gang figure. |

Introduction:
This Kubrick set is based on on the Special Forces guys. Third
in the series. This is one of the most popular Kubrick series from
Medicom mainly because of their limited production and the fact that
they sometimes come with very rare and hidden figures which makes
collectors drool. There are always five common figures, one "Impossible
to Find" figure and an unknown amount of hidden figures. The
figures I have are (pictured left to right), ESI, SWAT (C), SAT (A),
SWAT (D) and Future Warrior 2025. |

Sculpt:
I'm going to review these as a set rather than focus on their
individual traits. Another improvement over the previous set. The
sculpt is even more detailed! The helmets and mask are very well
done and the guns are also slightly improved. The newer vest molds
are great. Thankfully, the crappy visor plastic is not here from
the second set. The visors for all the figures are very nice. I'm
really glad each figure has their own look. They aren't duplicated
like the previous sets. Medicom really outdid themselves here.
The
real winners are the SWAT guys. Thye look badass and I'm glad they
aren't clones like the previous set. The Future Cop 2025 figure
is very unique and also comes with his own unique gun. I'm not sure
why he was made with this group but it's a nice figure if you like
fantasy cops. This set's sculpt will pave the way for pretty much
most of the sets later in the series.

Paint:
The paint job is very nice too. Instead of giving all the figures
the same look, each figure has their own color scheme. Note the colors
for some of the vests too. Great details. What's also noteworthy is
the Future Warrior 2025 figure's paint job. The paint used is semi-shiny
and different than the other figures. Great job from Medicom. |

|
Overall:
A
One of the best in the series. Medicom improved everything over
the previous series. Better sculpt and better paint job. A must
have if you have the previous series. You'll also want this set
to complete your SWAT guys too.

Where
can I find this?
You can easily find them popping up in auction sites like Ebay
and in some import stores. Most sellers sell them as full sets for
a pretty good price. But of all the older Special Forces series, they're
the most commonly found. You might not have much trouble finding them. |

The box. It's interesting that they used the Future Cop 2025 for
the cover. Medicom tends to use the most common character in the
set for the box art usually.

A hidden AND very rare gang figure. He comes with a cool flick knife
and wallet chain. The outfit design rules.
