Personal
Story:
I got these four guys for a good price from Ebay. But the seller ripped
me off with the high shipping price. |

Introduction:
This Kubrick set is based on on the Special Forces guys. Second
in the series. This is one of the most popular Kubrick series from
Medicom mainly because of their limited production and the fact that
they sometimes come with very rare and hidden figures which makes
collectors drool. There are always five common figures, one "Impossible
to Find" figure and an unknown amount of hidden figures. The
figures I have are (pictured left to right), Police (A), Police (B),
SWAT (A) and SWAT (B). |

Sculpt:
I'm going to review these as a set rather than focus on their
individual traits. This set is much more improved over the first
series. The vests are molded this time. The helmets are nice and
the shields are really cool. The guns and other accessories are
much more detailed than the first series. Some of the accessories
like the battering ram for the SWAT (B) figure are outstanding.
But some are bad like the SWAT (A) figure's accessories. The grappling
hook (suction cup thing) is cheap and ugly. Also, SWAT (A)'s visor
is made from a cheap plastic. But other than that, the rest of the
figures and their accessories are very well done.

Paint:
The paint job is a bit boring. It's a very blue set. The decals
of the Police logo is cool but not special. It seems Medicom got lazy
with the the color scheme for this series. Too bad. |

|
Overall:
B
A real improvement over the first series. The better sculpt
is hampered with a really boring color scheme. But this is one of
the better sets in the Special Force series. Once again, collectors
rejoice.

Where
can I find this?
Hard but not impossible to find. You can find the first four common
figures sold as sets in auction sites like Ebay popping up once in
a while. They are probably the second easiest to find next to the
Special Force 3 sets. But they are impossible to find in import stores. |
