Personal Story:
I got these as a full set from a seller on Ebay for a pretty hefty price. But I think it was worth it since I can't find them anymore nowadays.

Introduction:
This Kubrick set is based on characters from the hit video game, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. It features 6 common figures: Solid Snake, Revolver Ocelot, Olga Gurlukovich, Octacon, Gurlukovich Soldier Woodland, and Gurlukovich Soldier Tiger Stripe. The other two (I don't have) is the "Impossible to Find Kubrick" Raiden and the hidden Gurlukovich Soldier with nightvision goggles and "?" symbol. If you would like to see a pic of Raiden and the hidden soldier, check out "The Document of Metal Gear Solid 2" for the Playstation 2. They aren't pictured in the Medicom site so don't bother looking there.

Sculpt:
The entire set looks great! Kubrick really did their homework with these guys. Every little detail has been done. From Snake's mullet to Olga's knife, from Ocelot's guns to the Soldiers' symbols over their heads. It's all there. Snake has his trademark vest with the full array of ammo and his SOCOM gun, Ocelot has his twin revolvers, Olga has her knife and gun, Otacon has his little laptop (that opens!), and the Tiger Stripe soldier comes with a "zzz" symbol and two guns, and the Woodland soldier comes with a "!" symbol, pistol and riot shield. Everything has been fully realized in Kubrick form. Just trust me and look at the pics. Lots of details everywhere. The only disappointing thing is the Woodland Soldier's riot shield is too small. If you checked out the cop figures in the Special Forces 2 series, their riot shields are much larger. I don't know why Kubrick wasn't able to make the riot shields bigger here. Maybe it was the plastic, who knows. It would've been nice if Ocelot had his trenchcoat too but I'm being picky about that. They look great nonetheless.

Paint:
The paint job is equally impressive. Everyone has their trademark color scheme. The paint job for Snake and Otacon is quite simple. But Ocelot, Olga and the two Soldiers look great. Their camo colors are wonderfully done. This is especially true for Ocelot and the two Soldiers. Olga is also well-done with her outfit and she even has her scar on her face! Sweet. I can't find anything bad about the paint job. Kudos to Kubrick for staying true to the colors of the characters.

Overall: A
An excellent set of figures from Medicom. If you're a fan of Kubricks or the MGS2 game then these should be in your collection now! It would've been nice if more characters were made but you'll never know judging from Medicom's way of producing their Kubrick figures. I also hope Medicom would make the characters from the first game too. That would be neat.

Where can I find this?
You can still find a few popping up here and there. Auction sites like Ebay still have them readily available so you won't have too many problems. They can also be found in some import stores. But Raiden and the hidden Gurlukovich Soldier are pretty much impossible to find anywhere.

Other Images:

The box. The SD version of Solid Snake on the cover is great! FYI, it's drawn by the character designer. The design of the box looks very similar to the game package. Very cool.

Snake and a Gurlukovich Soldier chatting about old times.

Olga gives Otacon a surprise haircut.

Check out the details! Snake's bandana, Ocelot's second revolver, bullets and Olga's radio.

The usual suspects.
