Personal Story:
I really liked the Miina Miyafuji figure from Good Smile Company so I decided to get her friend, Karen, to complete the pair. I preordered it from an online import store when it became available.

Introduction:
This figure is made by Good Smile Company based on popular anime characters. This figure is based on the character Karen Onodera from the anime, Please! Twins. It depicts Karen in a two piece swimsuit.

Sculpt:
Very nice. The sculpt is very accurate . Some might say she's a little more curvaceous than her anime counterpart, but she looks great this way. The hair has little details with strands of hair along the bangs and back. I really like the bow and the way her hair is sculpted. The rear part of the hair is very intricate but simple. It's a solid piece. It looks lively and fun. The face is dead on to the source. She looks happy and sweet.

The body and pose are very nice. She's in a fun dynamic pose. She looks like she's jumping for joy, over something. I really like the pose of the hands and arms. It looks like she's keeping the hair out of her face. Cute. The body is nicely done too. Unlike Miina, there's nothing overtly sexual about her body or pose. They managed to make her look innocent and cheerful. The abs and her back are well-defined yet subtle. The bikini top is also nicely sculpted with little creases on her small breasts. It's not outstanding but it works.

The legs and feet are nicely sculpted as well. They made it look like she's jumping into the air which is fairly well done. I can't say the illusion is perfect, but it works to some extent. The bikini bottom isn't quite as detailed as the top which is a bummer. It looks more like the bottom was painted on. The feet is really well sculpted. They look fairly realistic. I wasn't impressed with the bottom half as much as the upper half's sculpt.

The figure has ZERO articulation so you won't be playing with it. The base included two pegs for her feet. They were really well designed and the figure was placed into them perfectly. It made her VERY stable to display. Good job in that department. But I don't understand why they were made with different colors.

Paint:
The paint job is fairly clean with some minor problems. The colors for the hair and skin tone are nice and vibrant. They are quite accurate to the source. The hair itself is airbrushed with different gradients of green and it looks great. The eyes are amazingly detailed and very clean. They also painted her fingernails and toenails with a little bit of pink. Great details.

The blue colors for her swimsuit are fairly well done with minor airbrushing. It looks more like solid colors were used. But it's very clean overall with little to no bleeding. Her body was airbrushed with minor shades to enhance parts of her body like her abs and legs. It's very subtle and very light. I'm glad they didn't go overboard there.

I found the paint job to be near flawless. Great job.

Overall: A+
Excellent job overall. She's a fun figure to display and she looks great next to Miina. For fans of Please! Twins or cute-looking anime babes in swimsuits, it's a must-have. While she lacks the sexuality of most anime babes in swimsuits, she make it up with sheer cheerfulness.

Where can I find this?
Pretty much any online import store that specializes in these figures will have her in stock (as of this review). She isn't quite as popular as her friend, Miina, so she's pretty easy to find.

Other Images:

The figure in its box. Lovely design with both the colors and the layout. The box design looks remarkably similar to Kotobukiya's box designs just like the sculpt.

"Hiya! Wanna go to the water slides next?"

The feet. Unlike the Miina figure, the feet is perfectly position over the pegs. Very stable. I don't understand why the pegs were made in different colors...

The base. The pegs were very well designed. The copyright information on the base that was seen with the Miina figure is oddly absent on this base.

The back.
