Personal Story:
I chat online with the designer of this figure, Anna Pulchalski occasionally. She's extremely nice and a great person whom I had asked about sculpting and designing information. I made a quick comment about reviewing some of her figures and she was willing to send them to me so that was cool. Thanks Anna! :)

Introduction:
This is a Qee figure from the Designer Collection Series 3. These were Qee figures designed by various artists who contributed their ideas and designs to Toy2R. They don't design the figures itself but rather the designs on the figures.

Sculpt:
This is a what Toy2R calls a BearBearQ body. It looks a lot like the be@rbricks that Medicom makes, right? Well, I wouldn't be surprised if Toy2R was heavily influenced by them. One of its unique features is the uneven sizes of the ears. The body is fairly basic so there's not much to talk about.

There was a lot of stuff included with this figure. I wasn't expecting it so it was a surprise to me. There's the trademark Qee keychain, a stand, a pin and card with artwork by the designer and a catalog of all the figures in the series. Way cool stuff. I doubt anyone would actually use the stand but it's a good accessory if you need it.

Paint:
The paint job is what I'll be reviewing since the design is what this figure is all about. The design is really cute. What we have here is an angel bear with the halo on top of her head and wings on her back. There are also little stars on her torso. The thick eyelashes that represents her closed eyes also adds to the charm. I really love the design since it's so adorable.

The color scheme works and gives it a soft melancholy look to it. The paint is all very clean and they retained the original design from the artist intact on it. You can see that they didn't fix up the "sketchy effect" of it. Well done.

Overall: B+
This is a very cute figure and anyone who likes Qees or angels in general might find an interest in it. I found the design very charming and sweet. It works very well.

Where can I find this?
It's not a new figure so it's a bit hard to find but I bet if you look hard enough, you'll see it pop up in some online import stores that carry these types of figures.
